 BRIEF 简介

秋白书苑西太湖外文馆，坐落于西太湖国际人才社区，于5月20日正式对外开放。

这是常州市图书馆设立的首家秋白书苑外文馆，由常州市图书馆、西太湖科技产业园管委会、西太湖国际人才社区三方合作共建，

共收藏有700余本各种类型的英文原著，

可以在服务中心阅读浏览，也可以免费借阅回家。

外文馆总面积约为800平方米，在澜月湾景区临湖而立。馆内分上下两层，

一层分别有阅读区、文创展示区和咖啡厅；二层分别有阅读区和共享办公空间。

常州市图书馆秋白书苑西太湖外文馆的创立不仅赋予西太湖不一样的文化底蕴，更丰富了外籍人士和市民的阅读生活，提升了城市文化品质，

将成为中外文化交流和知识共享的“城市新空间”。

Changzhou Library Xitaihu Lake Foreign Languages Branch, located in the Xitaihu Lake Community, 

was officially opened to the public on May 20. 

This is the first foreign languages library set up by Changzhou library. 

It is jointly built by Changzhou library, Xitaihu Lake Science and Technology 

Industrial Park Management Committee and Xitaihu Lake Community. It has a collection of more 

than 700 English original books of various types, which can be read in the service center or borrowed for free.

With a total area of about 800 square meters, the foreign languages library is located near the lake

 in Moon Bay scenic area. There are two floors in the library. These are reading area, cultural and 

creative exhibition area and a coffee shop on first floor; reading area and co-working space on 

second floor. The establishment of Changzhou Library Xitaihu Lake Foreign Languages Branch not 

only endows Xitaihu Lake with different cultural heritage, but also enriches the reading life of 

foreigners and citizens, improves the quality of urban culture, and will become a "new urban space" 

for cultural exchange and knowledge sharing between China and foreign countries.

经过深思熟虑，我们决定把一件筹备很久的事情推出-

由西太湖国际社区发起的外文馆读书会，今日正式成立了。

在世界阅读日即将到来的时候，我们征集100本书，

希望通过52周，这些书籍的陪伴和分享，我们的生活都会闪烁一些不同的光芒。

After careful consideration, we decided to launch a long-term preparation - 

the Foreign Language Library Reading Salon initiated by the Xitaihu Lake Community, which was officially established today.

As world reading day is coming, we will collect 100 books. 

We hope that through company and sharing of these books in 52 weeks, our lives will shine with some different light.
